Using Class Dojo To Reward And Motivate Class Dojo To Reward And Motivate

For the last 5 years I have been using ClassDojo to motivate students and set classroom expectations. ClassDojo enables me to leverage the competitive nature of most students to motivate them to undertake tasks at a much deeper level. It also allows for teachers to reinforce good behaviours by actively recognising them either in front of the class or in a more subtle manner. I find that ClassDojo works great in the younger grades, but have also seen good results even in Grade 8 classes. Let’s face it, everyone loves to compete against their peers and be rewarded for good work.

How do I share a class with other teachers?

It’s easy to share your class with other teachers so you can collectively assign points to the same students. Simple click the setting cog next to class name, share and type the teachers email address.
